Hello,
When I receive a popup notifying me that it's time to roll a contract, I must roll in order to execute. What if I don't want to roll at that exact moment? Is there an option to allow me to delay the roll and still be able to execute? Thank you

You definitely do not need to rollover if you do not want to. The only reason the system will "force" a rollover is if you have the option for "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Automatically Rollover Futures Symbol" set to "Yes". Otherwise, you can ignore the message to rollover and it will go away after a few minutes.

As to being able to execute, that is something that is set by your broker, so you need to talk to them about the last date in which you can make a trade for a particular symbol.

OK clear, BUT I checked the settings for this chart per your instructions and the config is set to no

Here is the log:
2025-08-20 09:26:27.414 | Order update (Order reject). Info: Teton CME Order Routing (Order reject). Info: Trade Order Error - Current date is beyond LastTradingDateForSymbol: 2025-08-19. Text: Tag: Tag: None.twconfig. Text: Tag: None.twconfig. Internal Order ID: 2794. Service Order ID: 2789. Symbol: MNGU25_FUT_CME. Account: 197181 *

Is there a global setting I need to check?

There is no way to prevent that rejection. That comes from the trading server. You must go to the next contract month.

How do I request a new feature for Sierra(Teton) allow for the option to click past this forced roll?

We are not understanding the question. There is no forced rollover.

Sorry if I wasn't clear.

Yesterday, I attempted to place an MNGU trade, but the order was rejected due to the Teton error popup shown above. I rolled to MNGV instead, which resolved the issue. As you suggested, I checked the Sierra setting related to bypassing the popup and confirmed it’s correctly configured.

I understand the error originates from the trading server—presumably Teton. I also assume Teton and Sierra are the same company, which is why I’m asking here. According to the CME NG page, NGU is still the current contract, and I’d prefer to continue trading it.

Is there any way to avoid the forced roll, at least temporarily?

Your broker is not allowing you to trade this:

They set the rules.
