We are not sure what the situation is with the dates showing as early 1900's. It could just be the way the date is showing in the log, which would have no impact on how the program is running or what is occurring. We will remind engineering to take a look at this.

A download request is for a particular symbol. So if you were to open a new daily historical chart for a new symbol, it would be a single historical download request to get the historical data for that one symbol. If you change it to a Continuous Futures Contract, then there would be 1 additional request for each contract. For instance, if you needed the M, U and Z contracts for 2024, then that would be 3 additional data requests.

And once the data is downloaded, then a request is not made for it again. So once a symbol has the M, U, and Z data for 2024, it will not request it again, as it now exists on your system.

The default of 4380 for the Number of Days to Load for Daily Historical data is just a default, it is not a maximum. The point being that by default, the amount of data requested is this amount.
