Hi, After having read the instructions to perform a rollover I still am missing some steps to effectively perform a rollover while keeping chart drawings and accurate price lines on the vertical axis. Can you please provide me with step by step instructions on how to rollover the MES contracts while maintaining drawing accuracy? When I perform a rollover the vertical drawings are shifted and no longer line up, especially with the TPO charts where I have composite profiles with multiple days merged along with VAH/VAL lines. Thanks |

If the drawings appear to be moving, then this would mean that you are using a "Back Adjusted" Continuous Futures Contract chart type. What is actually occurring is that the data is moving and the drawings are staying where they were originally. If you want to adjust the drawings, then refer to the following to determine the amount of the back adjustment: Continuous Futures Contract Charts: Controlling Rollover Amount for Back Adjustments And then you can adjust the drawings by using the "Adjust" option on the Manage Chart Drawings window. Refer to the following: Chart Drawing Tools: Manage Chart Drawings The other option is to not use a back adjusted contract type.
