Hi, I’m using the Spreadsheet System for Trading and I want to set up an automatic Buy Stop order to scale into a position after my initial long entry has triggered.

Here's exactly what I'm trying to do:
I already have a working Buy Entry in row 3 (column K3), which enters a position based on custom conditions.
Once I'm in a long position, I want to automatically place a Buy Stop when specific conditions are met throughout the trade (ie. MA crossover) to scale in if price moves up/down.

Can you please confirm the correct way to do this in the spreadsheet:
1. What exactly do I need to put in the columns to properly place a simple (example) Buy Stop scale-in order after the first entry?
2. Is there a better way to handle multi-level entries or scale-ins within the same spreadsheet?

Thanks!

To do this, for a Buy Entry with a Stop, you would need to do the following:
- Cell K3 needs to go to "False" after the initial position has been created.
- The J column cell associated with "Limit or Stop Price - Buy Entry (K)" would need to be set to the price at which you want to enter the Stop.
- The J column cell associated with "Buy Entry: Order Type. M=Market,L=Limit,S=Stop,SL=Stop-Limit,MIT=MarketIfTouched" would need to be changed to the type of entry you want (Stop or Stop Limit).

After the above is setup properly, then cell K3 would need to go to "True" in order for the order to be placed.

You then need to ensure that the cells reset back to what you need to open a new position when that occurs.
