Hi, I have my chart drawings numbered correctly in the chart settings. It's been working up until last night. Why aren't any drawings copying over to my other charts listed? i uploaded settings

Just to make sure you understand that with the settings as you have them, you would be copying drawings from charts 2, 3, 5, 6, 4, 8, 11, and 14 to chart #18.

There is no reason that we can see for those drawings to not be copied. The other thing you need to keep in mind is that if the other charts are for different symbols, then the pricing could be very far off, so you would need to look to see where the drawings are on the chart.

Otherwise, refer to the following:

I don't see how you mean that I have drawings copying over from 18. THis box specifically says copy from chart #s and then you just list all of the charts you want to copy from. There isn't anything sepearate that indicates charts copying to. I uploaded that again.

Also, even with what you mentioned. I'm looking at chart 18 and drawings I have aren't even copying to that chart either.

It's just weird. They were all copying over to all charts until this last night when I relogged in.

The Chart Settings window you show in the image you posted in Post #1 is from Chart #18 (it shows this in the Title Bar for that window). Therefore, you are copying the drawings from the other charts to that chart (#18).

We only brought this up to ensure that you understood how the copying of chart drawings works. Some people have it backwards.

Ok, I've attached chart book. I"m using all charts on that screen shot pretty much. Mainly drawing on #14, 18 and 16 expecting them to copy to every of those charts plus the ones listed in the screen shots I sent over..

We do not see any issues with the copying of the drawings to chart #18. Attached is an image that shows some of the drawings in the chart. The one thing we want to note is that the drawings are not close to the current price, so you need to scroll to find them. For instance, in the image is an extending rectangle with the top and bottom drawn at prices of 23011.50 and 22956.50 respectively.

So, the rectangles are coming over fine on all charts. The anchored vwaps are the ones that showed up for days and all of the sudden they just weren't copied over.

If you are using the "Volume Weighted Average Price" study, or the Drawn Volume by Price drawing tool, then these are studies and have to be copied to another chart using the "Study/Price Overlay" study.

If you are using something else, such as a 3rd party study, then you would need to look into how that is being drawn and how you had it setup to copy over. Most likely it is also a study subgraph, so you would use the "Study/Price Overlay", but it is possible that it is a drawing, but it has to be created properly to be able to copy it over.

Ok, so I've added the price study overlay to my settings. What Do I need to adjust so that whatever I draw on #14 copies to all other charts?

What specific items are you referring to? Is this a Volume Profile, VWAP, another drawing type, something from another study?
