when i plot the results of a spreadsheet study in chart region 1 everything is ok, however when i change the chart region to region 2 the spreasheet study creates a region 2 on my chart but the region remains empty. am i missing something simple here? thanks. |

We are not seeing any general issue with this. The one thing that may be occurring is that if you are displaying just one set of values, and if those values are all the same, then the region does not have a good way to scale itself, so what happens is the data will be displayed but it is at the very top of the region and may not be visible. You will also know this is the case as there will not be a scale to the right. Another possibility is that you have a divide by zero which is causing a "Not a Number" error, which will show as "NaN" in the scale on the right. You would need to resolve this issue if it is the case. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

thanks john, yes, the initial spreadsheet formula i used had a divide by zero that caused a "not a number" error. after i fixed the error the spreadsheet still remembered the error so i just created a fresh new spreadsheet and everything was ok. |
