Good morning.

I have an instance of SC connected to the trading evaluator.

Some days ago, I rolled over the BTC contract to the BTCQ25.

Since then, I have missing data, both historical and intraday data for that contract.

I tried to delete and download all the data, yet nothing changes, all the BTCQ25 charts shows just the last days of trading (March 2025 for historical and beginning of July for intraday data).

Can you please help me with this issue?

Thanks in advance,

Fabio.

The picture shows the historical chart of the contract mentioned in previous message.

Not sure whether this image can be useful or not, considering that there is not much to show other than lines and a lot of blank space due to the missing data.

I won't post the intraday chart, it would be redundant and I guess useless to you, yet the problem is the same. Both historical and intraday data are missing, causing me problems with the studies I have on the charts (not shown).

Let me know if you need more info.

Thanks,

Fabio.

Follow the instructions here to update the Symbol Settings:
Global Symbol Settings: Update Global Symbol Settings

And also update to the prerelease version of Sierra Chart. Instructions:

There should not be any problems with Intraday data. Whatever data you see is correct.

This is what we see for historical daily data:

Just to make sure I will not mess up my settings I need to make sure of the following before doing something stupid I will regret lol:

1) When the "update from server" button will be clicked, just the symbol highlighted will be updated and not the entire list, right?

2) I will also make sure to update to the prerelease as suggested

3) From your picture I can tell that the charts are the same for both of us. However, that's not how it is supposed to be considering I am using the Continuous futures contract - Volume based rollover, Back adjusted, right? With this setting I should be able to see past the current front month.

The view that we both have should be how the current contract month only should appear, am I wrong?

Thanks in advance,
Fabio.

1) The entire list will be updated with any changes that we have made to the symbol settings.

2) Good

3) Update the symbols and then see if the chart is set correctly after this.
