Hello Sierra Chart Community, I'm currently evaluating Sierra Chart for my trading setup and have a specific question about scanning capabilities with volume profile analysis. I'm looking for the ability to scan multiple symbols for price interactions with FIXED Volume Profile levels - specifically POC (Point of Control), VAL (Value Area Low), and VAH (Value Area High). By "fixed" I mean levels that are anchored to completed time periods (daily/weekly/monthly sessions) and don't change dynamically as new data comes in during the current session. What I'm hoping to achieve: • Scan stocks when price approaches or touches these fixed VAL/VAH/POC levels • Set up automated alerts for these interactions • Focus on completed session data rather than continuously updating values Has anyone in the community successfully set up this type of scanning? If so, could you point me toward the relevant studies or configuration methods? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help. |
