I am using Sierra Chart with NSE symbols and I’ve noticed an issue where the symbol format changes automatically after some time. For example: Initially the symbol is: RELIANCE.NSE After some days it changes to: RELIANCE.BE.NSE Later(After a month or so) it reverts back again to: RELIANCE.NSE In NSE, the suffix .BE indicates that only delivery-based trading is permitted and intraday trading is not allowed. Because of this, some stocks are sometimes reported as .BE.NSE instead of .NSE. The problem is that Sierra Chart treats .NSE and .BE.NSE as two different symbols, which results in the data being split into two separate data files. This breaks the continuity of the chart history. Could you please advise how to configure Sierra Chart so that the data for both .NSE and .BE.NSE is downloaded into the same data file, ensuring continuous historical data even when the suffix changes? Thank you for your support. |
