Inconsistent backtest speed

I have multiple instances of Sierra charts downloaded so that I can have multiple backtests running at the same time. On one instance, if I have it set to replay single chart it replays smoothly. On another instance that has all the same settings (as far as I'm aware) it is incredibly choppy. Both replay smoothly when I have them set to replay all charts in chartbook, but I only have one chart in the chartbook and I'd like to replay the single chart so that it can skip the empty periods. I've experimented with changing the chart update in milliseconds from 250 to 10 and changing the replay speed but that doesn't really change anything. Its set to accurate trading system back test mode. Do you know what the problem might be or at least how I can troubleshoot it?

Check Chart >> Chart Settings >> Display >> Replay Update Interval In Milliseconds

And also check to confirm there is tick by tick data:

Set Sierra Chart to a Tick by Tick Data Configuration. Follow the instructions here to do this:

The replay update interval in milliseconds is set to 0 on the smooth and the choppy instances. Changing it didn't make a difference, and every instance is set to a tick by tick data configuration. I've also tried copying the global settings files from one instance to another and that didn't make any difference either. Do you have any other ideas as to what the problem might be?

Set Chart >> Chart Settings >> Display >> Replay Update Interval In Milliseconds to 100.

Make sure you have tick by tick data (essential):

Set Sierra Chart to a Tick by Tick Data Configuration. Follow the instructions here to do this:
Tick by Tick Data Configuration

On the Replay Window interface:

Set the Charts to Replay to a single chart:
Replaying Charts: Charts to Replay

Set the Replay Mode to Standard Replay:
Replaying Charts: Replay Mode

You should not have any issue with that single chart.
