sierra chart becoming unresponsive and glitchy

Sierra Chart has been becoming slower and slower for me, delayed responses to clicks and the charts would skip/glitch and fill back the chart.

I did a clean install of sierra chart, then did a full clean install of windows - but nothing is helping.

What can I check next to see what is occurring? I have sent the message log for analysis.

Thank you!

Refer to the following:
High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

Thank you for the guide.

After changing the "chart update interval" and "tick size" , the problem seems to get worse not better. i will send the message log again.

Any thoughts?

There is nothing in your log that shows any specific errors.

There are a lot of items in the link we gave for items to check/change. In particular, given the number of charts in your chartbook from the Message Log, we recommend using a sub-instance (or two) to have multiple processors helping with charting. Refer to this section in particular on that page:
High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often: 30.47 - Use Sub Instances to Distribute Processing Load

But we do recommend going through all the items on that page.

John,

Thank you, will continue to follow your recommendations. Appreciate you checking the message log for any errors I might have inadvertently caused. I just found it odd that I've never had this issue before with this chartbook.

Appreciate your time!
