Is there a way to display the current developing range as a numerical value, as each new high/low develops throughout the day?

I'm not looking for a line or band etc, which tracks the developing range - I'm looking for the actual numerical value of the range itself (i.e. first break shows 58pts, then on the next break a new numerical value displayed at the new high saying 69pts, then on the next break a new numerical value displayed at the new high saying 84pts, etc).

The general way to do this is to use whatever study you want to get the developing range and hide that study. Then use the "Text Display for Study" to display the latest value from that study on your chart. Refer to the following:

Thanks John!

Will that not just display the price of the high or low of the bar though, rather than the current range of the day itself?

i.e. price breaks out to a new high of 15675, and the new high now creates a range of 185pts on the day. Will your solution display 15675 as the text (the price of the new high), or 185 as the text (the current range on the day)?

What study shows the actual developing range on the day?

Thanks!

You need to select the proper study (or studies) to get what you want, and then display that value.

What study shows the actual developing range on the day?

We assume you are wanting a constant running of the range throughout the day. In this case, refer to the following for how to do this:
