Hello, I connected to sierrachart in early June (a 20-day trial package), but today I found that the data was unavailable. Only the panel is active: there is no data. Why?

Follow these instructions to add usage time to your Sierra Chart account:

1. Select "Help >> Account Control Panel" on the Sierra Chart software menu.

On the displayed webpage, click on "Activate Services".

Login with your Sierra Chart Account Name and Password if necessary.

2. Choose the particular Service Package and the number of Months that you want and press the "Update/Set" button. If you are on a Trial, you will first need to add sufficient credit to your account to pay for the chosen Service Package/Months. In this case, refer to the step below. Once that is done you can then choose the Service Package and number of Months.

3. Add sufficient credit to your Services Balance using any of the available payment options:

I'm confused. Why do I have a trial package in the package name? Why does this package expire on July 01? Why did you write to me that it has already expired? Why do I need to top up my account now? You originally created your account on May 26, 2020. At that time, you were given a 15 day free trial.

On June 1, 2025, you asked about why you needed to make a payment and your account was changed to Package 11 and you were given 7 days of Usage Time at that time. You were then given another 1 day on June 11, 2025.

In the end, what we did not realize is that you were thinking that you should be on a trial, but since your account was created previously, the trial does not automatically occur. You just needed to ask us to reset the trial for you and we would have done so. Now that we understand what is occurring, we have reset the trial for your account so you now have 21 days of trial time available.

Once the trial is done, then you would need to change to a paid package in order to continue to use Sierra Chart. At that time, refer to the following for how to change to a paid package:

There is a check in the system if you go back to a certain version and then the trial is turned off. This is due to a cracked version of Sierra Chart that only works on that specific version. For whatever reason, you happened to be on that version, which turned off your trial.

Please stay on the current version of Sierra Chart in order to continue to have the trial working properly. We have reset the time again for you.

If you do not know what version of Sierra Chart you are running, then we recommend updating both systems to the current version (v 2764). Follow these instructions to update:
