Order fill issues

Support,

I seem to be having difficulties getting my orders filled on two attempts. I am using Teton order routing.

I placed an order yesterday, price moved through the order and no fill. I was a bit perplexed by this when I checked my orders at the end of the day. I cancelled that order and placed another order yesterday evening and again no fill when price moved through my order.

This is a limit order type with attached orders but to have no fills on two attempts seems like I am doing something wrong. Can you help me troubleshoot this issue?

The Stop and Target are "Pending" side orders. As such, these orders only exist on your local computer. If Sierra Chart was not running when the price moved through the level of one of these, then that order would not activate, as the software is not running to process it.

If Sierra Chart was running at the time, then the child order should have converted to a Market Order and been sent to the exchange. In this case, you need to look at the "Trade Activity" tab of the Trade Activity Log and see what occurred in relation to the specific order that should have converted.

Also, exactly what order type are you using for the Stop and Target?

Sierra Chart was not running at the time when price entered the order level.

Ok I have misunderstood this section below;

Global Trade Settings Windows: Use Server Side Bracket Orders (if supported) (Global Settings >> General Trade Settings >> General)

I thought I had understood "Server" as being orders on the Teton server infrastructure and the Client application did not need to be running.

When I placed these orders, I closed the application and logged in to the Web Trade panel, and could see the orders on there, so I assumed these orders were server-side.

The Stop is a Stop:Stop order type and the target is Target: Limit order type.

Sorry - we were confusing items when we referenced the "Server" state (we were thinking Client, not Server). We need to pass this along to development to look at, as we do not understand why the orders were in a pending state, when you are using the "Teton Order Routing Service".

Understood, that is a relief. So you are happy these are server side?

What I do find odd which you may want to check with development is the pricing in the Web trade panel for the orders appears to be incorrect. The decimal point is in the wrong place. This could be causing the issue. I have just noticed this now. Please see attached image.

Our apologies. We did not catch on to the issue until you mentioned the pricing. When you are using certain combinations of Symbol with the Trade and Current Quote Symbol, there are some things you need to specifically set. Refer to the following:

You need to set the Trade and Current Quote Symbol Price Multiplier differently for the trade symbol:
