If your chart is setup to display a lot of historical data, then it can take a long time for the data to download.

For one chart that shows this issue, how much data are you wanting to load? Is the chart setup to be a Continuous Futures Contract?

I have the same problem, it makes the platform unusable because no intraday data loads until historical data is piped in for that instrument. On a gigabit connection this is taking days for a few dozen symbols, example message log:

2025-06-16 18:00:34.148 | Added historical Daily data request for GCQ25_FUT_CME to the queue.
2025-06-16 18:00:34.148 | Triggering next historical data download in queue.
2025-06-16 18:00:34.148 | Historical data download thread signaled to stop.
2025-06-16 18:00:34.148 | Socket (2) | CloseSocket call.
2025-06-16 18:00:34.148 | Socket (2) | Shutdown started. Waiting for graceful close.
2025-06-16 18:00:34.148 | HD Request # 91 | Received 0 Daily data records from 00:00:00 to 00:00:00 (0.0 seconds) and wrote 0 records for GCQ25_FUT_CME

Keep in mind that once the data is there, the system only needs to get whatever data is missing, which should only be a day or so (depending on how often you get on the system). Also, there is a difference between the downloading of the data and then the loading of the data from disk. Exactly what message are you seeing on your screen when you are waiting?

The snippet of the Message Log does not give any information on what is occurring.

Have you opened a single chart to see how long it takes that chart to load? Please do this and see what occurs. Just open a new chart for a symbol you typically use and see how long it takes to load and let us know.
