This is a scaling issue. The Numbers Bars have a lot of data in them, so you have to be careful about the scaling. Title: š 1-Hour Candle Start Time Misaligned by 30 Minutes (e.g. 19:00 Instead of 19:30) ā XAUUSD (SC Data) Message: Hello Sierra Chart Support, I am using Sierra Chart version 2776 with SC Data and I'm encountering a timestamp alignment issue on my XAUUSD 1-hour intraday chart. Despite setting the following: Chart Bar Period: 60 Minutes Session Times: 00:00:00 to 23:59:59 Time Zone: (UTC+05:30) Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi "New Bar at Session Start": Enabled I noticed that on 2025-07-28, one of the 1-hour candles started at 19:00 instead of the expected 19:30, and ran until 20:00. This created a mismatch in bar alignment for that every past day, while other days appear normal. I attempted a fix using Edit ā Adjust Data ā Time Adjustment (+00:30:00) for the specific range, and it worked, but Iād like to understand: Why this misalignment occurred in the first place? How to prevent it from happening again in future sessions? Is this an issue with the initial tick timestamp or data delivery from SC Data? If needed, I can provide screenshots showing the affected candle and my chart settings. Thank you for your assistance. Kind regards, Lokenan |

Since these are 1 hour bars and your Start Time for your Session Time is 00:00:00, you should have bars at every even 1 hour increment. You should NOT have bars showing on the half-hour mark. If you want the bars to be aligned to the half-hour mark, then you need to set the Start Time for your chart to be 00:30:00. Refer to the following: Chart Session Times: Bar Starting Times For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
